He is INFP Bringing up rules and code isnt Si. Si is a manifestation of past impressions, that's why people condense Si's definitions to looking at the past sometimes. Si is only attributed to being by the book because it is a possible consequence of relying on your past experiences. For an Si user it is harder to fit something unfamiliar to the mold of what is already familiar to them. Now this is the hard part. I've seen around 7+ INFP vs ISFJ profiles and I found that the best way to distinguish them is to possibly look at their Inferior Functions. We've seen that he barely leaves his room and sticks within his comfort zone. We've seen how deliberate he was when asking questions to sell the dog. There is clear Si within him. No Se considering how dense he is around his environment(punching his girlfriend by accident,not having any impact around his environment or InterestIn making an impact). So I dont get the ENFJ voters who have Se Teriary. But is his Si that high? The person who chooses to not go to collage and potentially changes his entire career because of the girl he likes? This show that Fi>Si because as an Fi dom myself I know that if I find something that really gets my heart going and aligns with my values i wouldn't mind changing for that. An ISFJ being the main character might have changed the entire conflict to it being worth it rather than this makes me happy thus i would stick with it not caring about the consequences. Would someone with high Fe really be so dense In social situations. The person who dealt with his hurt feelings by destroying his girlfriends future car and being surprised when a tree fell on it when the whole Intention is to destroy the car In the first place. He has no skills In reading the room either. The person whos first reaction to his girlfriend explaining herself being 'it felt personal to me'. Referencing events with respect to self is more Fi than Fe. now for Ni vs Ne. He didnt necessarily have any deep Insights or cares about his future that much. Ni is the sensing of potential developments or as i would like to call it the hidden potential of objects. A meaning attached to some form of abstraction. A hidden mental guide that stems from hunches. Compare this to Percy who during his DaTe pulls up a bunch of random stories with no Connection and Inherent meaning. 'my grandfather shot himself. just kidding.' 'what do you want?' he asks when figuring out what's going on behind the scenes. Fi+Ne filter their emotions through series of possibilities on why this is going bad which I see as an Ne Te combo. Te stating what is objectively the case and Ne stating why this is happening. Even when he was making excuses to not go out with her it was a failed attempt at stating what is objectively true as possible reasons for dipping out. All these things about no life guard being here or are we allowed to be here is more Fi-Te axis than Si. Especially when he randomly brings up that what they are doing happened In jaws another Instance of Ne.
