geez her typology is a complete mess. i'm at a loss for how/why there's so many ISFP votes... especially considering how there isn't a single argument for ISFP. don't even get me started on her enneagram... 6w5? sp dom? 9 fix? no way. she's rather unhealthy for a decent portion of the manga though, which leads to her over-relying on tert si to unhealthily fuel her fi. collei's developed very specific impressions of others as a result of her experiences, which she initially constantly applies to everyone she meets in mondstat. rather than being more open to the people around her, she's fixated on judging everyone based on her own subjective values & impressions. she views herself & those like her as "exiles" who have been unfairly excluded from the "beauty" of the world by the gods (including asserting that the exiles have done nothing wrong to warrant such treatment), while also viewing the "chosen" ones (especially those with visions) in a negative light. it's all based on her own personal experiences & values rather than any kind of external objective logic or perception. it's not until the ludi harpastum magic show that we begin to see collei use ne in a healthier way. before then, she was focused on finding information & would only consider the possibilities that fit within her fi & si. yet after being temporarily locked in the box, when amber finds her she comes to a realization that mondstat is different. collei even wonders what she would've been like if she had grown up in mondstat too. she starts participating in the events with amber & really starts to see everything from an entirely different perspective. in the end, she comes out of her unhealthy si & starts to finally use ne more. the way she opts for the opportunities to seal away her powers & even go with cyno to sumeru strike me as positive ne usage. she's actively choosing to see the light in things now, but nothing about the way she does so comes off as a concrete, objective perception of her surroundings. she also never shows *any* signs of converging onto a singular deeper understanding of what she perceives. instead, she creates specific impressions that serve as a starting point for her to perceive various potentialities around her. i think it also plays into why she strikes me as more of a w7 > w5. collei really only comes off like a w5 in her unhealthiest moments, but i don't see her truly being a w5. where's the traits of a 5 bleeding into her 6? where would she be emotionally detached & resource hoarding? i know she wants to learn things, but imo it comes off as more of the desire for her to experience new things in general in a gluttonous way rather than an avarice-driven way - hence w7 > w5. i'm also more inclined to type her as a sx > sp dom. her immediate tendency for dealing with fear & threats is to become intimidating & standoff-ish, rather than someone who seeks to form alliances & create connections in order to obtain protection. & finally... i really don't see a 9 fix. exactly where does she ever show any indications of resisting the world & trying to establish some kind of internal sense of peace? there should still be some aspects of 9 visible in her... but i see none. she strikes me as very triple reactive. she could very well be 648 > 684, but overall i'm pretty certain of the 8 fix based on what we've gotten so far. i also don't know why tf yall are voting her as agreeable & non-inquisitive in big 5. RLUEI makes waaay more sense than RLUAN. i don't see how she'd ever be A or N. granted, some of this could change once she's finally released in-game... so we'll just have to see. but for now, based off of the manga, this appears to be her typology.
背景
Collei is a playable Dendro character from Sumeru. She has appeared in the official Manga and serves as one of its main characters. An Avidya Forest Ranger with a checkered past. Three years before the start of the Traveler's adventures, Collei was a sickly young girl who her mother entrusted to the Fatui to help treat her illness, only to be experimented upon and imbued with essences of deceased gods against her will, eventually escaping and nearly going on a rampage in Mondstadt before being saved by Amber and eventually returned to Sumeru. Nowadays, she is living happily under the care of Tighnari, even as she continues to deal with her past trauma and her resurgent illness.
