背景
Real name Marie, she was sold by her parents as a test subject for NED Company's Blood SoulWorker experiments after the Great Void forced her family into poverty. After being cruelly tortured and experimented on, she was discarded as a failed experiment, and was labelled as Failure Number EL (Fn. EL). Due to mysterious circumstances, she was able to reawaken as a SoulWorker, and chose to reject her past (as well as her birth name) by living on as Ephnel, a name based on the original Failure Number she was labelled under. Ephnel's powers come from the emotion of indomitability.
