She started publishing on the social storytelling platform Wattpad.[1] The print edition of the series was published in 2014 by Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster,[2] and has been translated into several languages. The film adaptation of the first book was released on April 12, 2019, by Aviron Pictures, and the second in September 2020.
