I think he might be an INFJ, compared to his INTJ movie version. They tried making him less of a stereotypical villain in the musical and with that weakened his Te, imo. It's difficult for me to explain, but his values in the movie seem to be based on his own, while in the musical, it seems to be more of a "the church is my home and sanctuary, so I will honour it and its morals" kind of situation. He also puts himself in a saviour position for multiple people because he genuinely thinks he's just helping them with what he's doing, compared to his movie version who is more cold and impersonal and honestly couldn't care less.
