背景
Sheikh Yasser bin Hamad Malluh Al-Basri Al-Tamimi is a Muslim scholar, preacher, educator, Imam, and public speaker whose work brings together Islamic scholarship, psychology, education, behavioral analysis, and intellectual inquiry. His approach is grounded in the centrality of Allah, Tawhid, and Islamic Sharia as the foundational framework for understanding human nature, relationships, identity, purpose, and moral behavior. Within this framework, he examines psychological and behavioral phenomena through logical reasoning, careful analysis of underlying motives and assumptions, and engagement with relevant academic research. Sheikh Yasser is a specialist in psychology and education and has produced extensive lectures, written works, and educational material addressing subjects including faith, jurisprudence, spiritual development, psychology, relationships, masculinity, identity, addiction, compulsive behavior, and existential questions. Among his known works is Hadith Al-Rijal, alongside educational series addressing recovery from addiction and compulsive behaviors. His work is particularly characterized by an interdisciplinary and integrative methodology: rather than treating psychological or behavioral problems in isolation, he examines their psychological, social, existential, and spiritual dimensions while maintaining Islamic revelation and the Sharia as the ultimate reference point. He has also contributed his religious expertise to academic work at the intersection of Islam, psychology, and mental health, reflecting his engagement with contemporary academic discussions alongside his religious and educational work. Overall, Sheikh Yasser Al-Basri’s approach seeks to combine religious authenticity, logical reasoning, psychological insight, and academic knowledge into a coherent Islamic framework for understanding and reforming the human being.
