Pierrot's obsession with MC comes from his trauma of losing Columbina to something he thinks he could have prevented. He promises MC to change the way he is so they can love him unconditionally. He risks his whole self to be thrown away just to experience that same love that Columbina gave him because MC showed a little of Columbina's caring trait when they stood up for him. The trauma affected him so much that he has grown a twisted kind of love - Obsession. Lust. Longing. He can mask it well but it doesn't change the fact that in one of the endings of the first day when MC went home, Pierrot said: "(...)
