Ronald Schmidt aka Red (Referred to by the Media as The Dark Passenger and "The Imposter" by Dexter Morgan) is a Character in the Showtime series Dexter: Resurrection. Ronald is a New York serial killer whom stalks and kills rideshare drivers throughout New York City. He's responsible for the deaths of at least twelve drivers and is actively hunting more victims. He is among a selection of Serial Killers invited by Charley to meet Leon Prater including Mia Lapierre, Lowell, Gareth, and Al Jolly. However...before he can accept the invitation, his activities catch the attention of Dexter Morgan. Due to his moniker resembling that of the Dexter's personal moniker for his need to kill and his "resurrection" as a serial killer, Red becomes Dexter's First Kill in New York City - he also assumes (or "reclaims") his identity as The Dark Passenger and pretends to be Red to join Prater's group.
