背景
Kaoru Niou, or Mr Niou, is a side character in Go For It Again, Nakamura!. He is the substitute gym teacher. Niou is a tall, muscular man (according to Otogiri) with short black hair, thick eyebrows, and long bottom eyelashes, his skin is fair with a bit of tan. He wears a simple tracksuit with a shirt underneath and a whistle. His appearance faced some changes in the manga. In his debut he sported much longer bangs and a dark tracksuit with a light stripe, while in his next appearance his hair was much shorter and the tracksuit design was changed to a main lighter color with dark accents. This appears to be now his official look. The anime remains consistent in his design, with the short hair and a black and green tracksuit. Niou has a very serious and strict personality, described even as a hell teacher in his debut chapter's title. Despite this, he shows genuine care and takes his role as an educator very seriously, such when he apologies for not checking on Nakamura, Hirose, and Kawamura when they got trapped in the gym's storage room, and when he decides to personally help Nakamura build muscle at the end of volume 2 chapter 8 after he got sick.
