Jorge Du Peixe (Olinda, July 22, 1967), stage name of Jorge José Carneiro de Lira, is a singer and songwriter from Pernambuco, having held several roles in the band Nação Zumbi. Since Chico Science's death in 1997, Du Peixe has been responsible for the vocals and sampler in the group. The musician also integrates other musical projects, such as the bands Los Hooligans and Los Sebosos Postizos, in addition to performing several collaborations in cinema, composing soundtracks for national films, such as Amarelo Manga and Febre do Rato.
