It felt like they turned a joke into something more serious just to create drama and boost the show’s popularity, without considering the impact on anyone involved. They also tend to exaggerate her words and expressions while leaving out footage of others, which only fuels the backlash. Don’t get me wrong — I’m not defending her actions, but I still think the level of hate she’s receiving is far too extreme.
