Gloria Ioriatti ( Esine , 18 May 2000 ) is an Italian short track skater. She is the daughter of two internationally renowned skaters: her father Ermanno Ioriatti represented Italy in four consecutive editions of the Winter Olympic Games from Nagano 1998 to Vancouver 2010 in speed skating; her mother Elisabetta Pizio competed at the 1994 Lillehammer Olympics . [ 1 ] She studies law at the University of Trento . [ 1 ] He represented Italy at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer , where he finished 15th in the 500 metres, 8th in the 1000 metres and fifth in the relay. At the 2018 World Junior Championships in Tomaszów Mazowiecki she won a bronze medal in the 3000 metres relay, with Gloria Confortola , Ilaria Cotza and Elisa Confortola . The following year at the 2019 World Junior Championships in Montreal she repeated the bronze in the 3000 metres relay, with Chiara Betti , Elisa Confortola and Gloria Confortola . She was called up by the technical commissioner Frédéric Blackburn to the 2021 European Championships in Gdansk , where she won bronze in the 3000 metres relay, with her compatriots Cynthia Mascitto , Arianna Sighel , Martina Valcepina and Elena Viviani .
