I think SP7 is more fittable for Shang Tsung, he doesn't seem to be guided by the vanity of E3, but by gluttony, he always want more and more and he's also very narcissistic, he has the “I'm smarter than you” mentality of E7, always planning behind people's back and he has pleasure at doing it and at tricking them. SO3 is more about prestige and being recognized by that, he has the image adaptation of SO3, but I think he lacks the core of it, which is seeking a prestige position to fulfill a inner sense of lack of self-worth. LIE is obvious, this character has also been the most pragmatic in Mortal Kombat, guided by personal gain and knows how to recognize the potential behind the situations and use it in favor very pragmatically in a intelligent way, which is why he has 4D Te and 4D Ne, but his Ne serves his Ni as he's seeking for that subjective impression of the future where he will have all the power in his hands.
