I genuinely think that Sirius was based of Charles Manson in many ways. There are just too many similarities in Black’s background and story with Charlie. Like there is no way it wasn’t intentional. I know a lot about Manson that’s why. Manson often claimed that his spirit animal is a black wolf, or that he is spiritually allied with a wolf (understand it as you wish) he would draw black wolves everywhere etc. plus Sirius’s background in terms of childhood and his mom is very similar to Mansons. Also Sirius’s mugshot is literally a rip-off from Manson’s mugshot. Cherry on the cake is the fact that Sirius was called the most dangerous man alive (as well as Manson, of course) and in the end we all find out that he was innocent and was framed. Fast forward to 2021 same claims come out from all types of people about Manson, that he was just a mentally ill pawn used by CIA and etc. (I mean I personally always thought that he wasn’t a cult leader or anything it always sounded like bs to me but anyways) and of course the looks are very similar.

Sirius Black III (3 November, 1959–18 June, 1996), also known as Padfoot or Snuffles (in his Animagus form), was an English pure-blood wizard, the older son of Orion and Walburga Black, the brother of Regulus Black, and godfather of Harry Potter. Although he was the heir of the House of Black, Sirius disagreed with his family's belief in blood purity and defied tradition when he was Sorted into Gryffindor House instead of Slytherin at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which he attended from 1971 to 1978. As the rest of his family had been in Slytherin, he was the odd one out. Sirius was true to the ideal of a Gryffindor student. He was true-hearted and brave, as shown by his participation in both wars and willingness to die for those he loved. He was particularly loyal to his best friend, James Potter, a fellow Gryffindor. In his youth, he was a witty and talented wizard, but also quite an arrogant and mischievous troublemaker, and sometimes, a bully.
