I think about how her cognitive function use is reflected in the show so often oh my goodness she's such a fun character to analyse. She enters the show a Si dom whose unhealthy Fi has come to overshadow her brilliant use of Te, with her sense of duty to her family often warring with her desire to do what SHE wants, undettered by her morality. As time goes on she grows more confident in her abilities as a leader and planner, and in turn grows more into her Te. However, as with so many of the doctors companions, she begins to aspire to be more like him. This means that, because she spends so much time around the ever so Ne-dom doctor, she in turn begins to try to use Ne in ways she isn't really built to. This effect is seen to a greater extent in Donna, but is still there in Martha, and ultimately her decision to leave the doctor and seek independence from him is her final push of Ne usage, as she gives in to exploring the possibilities of a life outside of the doctors shadow. Literally everything to do with her character development can be tracked with typology and i LOVE it.
背景
The Woman Who Walked the Earth A medical student whose hospital ended up on the Moon in the early 21st century. She and the Doctor saved each other's lives a few times that day, and she ended up as the third female (second regular female) companion of the Tenth Doctor. Tries hard not to fall in love with him, but fails rather spectacularly at that. After she left the TARDIS, Jack Harkness pulled some strings to get her a job with UNIT in what seems to be Harry Sullivan's old job. She remains friends with Jack, and has popped up in a a couple of Torchwood episodes helping out Torchwood Cardiff. She left UNIT to become a freelance monster fighter but, at least in Torchwood comics, still works with them.
