CITIZENS is an EP (or mini-album) by Moroccan-Canadian singer Faouzia. It was released on May 19, 2022, through Atlantic Records. On March 30, 2022, the same day that "RIP, Love" was released, Faouzia announced the project, mentioning that it would serve as a "prequel" to her debut studio album. On April 28, 2022, she revealed the release date, track listing, and cover art, which features Faouzia in a futuristic outfit in a large futuristic glass city. The project was preceded by four singles: "Minefields", a collaboration with John Legend; "Don't Tell Me I'm Pretty", "Puppet", and "RIP, Love".
