I saw some interviews where he mentions at least twice where he has requested to do another take but has been turned down by the director. From what I can tell the implications for at least one of those incidences is that he wanted more possible footage to sort through. This is oddly similar to the how high Ne types chances various possibilities, although in this case he is seeking possibilities in order to rule them out. An interesting look at how Ne’s multifaceted nature can manifest even in the inferior position.
