He has been shown to be relaxed and carefree outside of battle, but gets haughty, hysterical and almost narcissistic when he suits up, almost like a split personality. He is shown to be aware of this mood swing, and states himself as becoming "cringeworthy" when he suits up.[2] He is later shown to be far more observant than he shows himself to be, shown when he quickly sees through on Sentōin D's disguise
