As a first generation member, Maeda stayed in Team A for seven years from debut to graduation. She is one of the group's famed "Kami 7" along with Yuko Oshima, Mariko Shinoda, Mayu Watanabe, Minami Takahashi, Haruna Kojima, and Tomomi Itano.
