The 1954 Food-Way Manager was the manager of the Food-Way in 1954. In his letter to the "boys back home", Brooks Hatlen remarked that the manager didn't like him very much for some reason, and Brooks even contemplated shooting him to go home to Shawshank. He left the post prior to 1967, as when Red was released and working in the same store, another person was the manager instead.
