Definitely an assertive type... he pretty much always just does what he wants without worrying about what others tell him at all. Type 1 or 8 would make sense to me. However, type 1's sin is anger, and I don't think I need to explain why this fits Damian's character. Despite his edginess and disobedience, beneath it, all Damian is actually rather uptight and disciplined (even said discipline was training him to murder). This is even demonstrated by the overly formal way he speaks. He also has a fixation on justice from the beginning, albeit in a twisted way. "He doesn't deserve to breathe" -- Damian commenting on a thug he almost killed "What I want is payback for the lives your drugs have ruined" -- Damian beating up a drug dealer "I was groomed for a higher calling" -- Damian describing his upbringing under his grandfather's tutelage Damian had always believed that he was meant for a higher purpose or destiny. Many type 1 reformers are perfectionists who see themselves as champions for a cause. In the beginning, he believed the right thing to do was to kill evil people to make the world a better place. As he spends more time with Batman, he begins to incorporate his father's principle of "justice, not vengeance" into his worldview as well. Once he makes up his mind, he is almost just as stubbornly steadfast in his ways with his new values as he was before.
