I'll argue for social 8w9. "Eights manifest lust in the social arena by having many friends, often a network of friends who work and/or play together. They like to introduce friends to each other, make sure everyone enjoys life, and provide mutual support and protection in times of need. Healthy so-8s tend to mimic and integrate to 2s, so it makes sense that Mion would be mistyped as a 2, but I don't see the core fears/motivations of a 2 in her that much, nor do any of the 2 subtypes fit her. She also doesn't integrate to 4 or disintegrate to 8. I think she disintegrates to 5 when she gets the parasite because, when her sense of solidarity is in jeopardy, she starts analyzing everything around her to an abnormal extent. She always has a pack mentality, sense of solidarity, and servient nature. She seeks power and control to attain peace and stability (hence the 9 wing), not to be loved or feel as if she belongs. She didn't hesitate to pick fights with authority during the dam war to satisfy these so-8 desires. I'm not sure if she's so/sp or so/sx because she seems mostly so to me, but I'll go with so/sp because she is usually very tactful and lawful, which sx-8s have a ton of trouble with (I'm not just referring to laws in the legal sense; I also mean principles and regulations in general). Finally, I would say her temptation is thinking she is completely self-sufficient, not manipulation or denying her own needs. She is tempted to put up a tough, independent front, not deprive herself or manipulate others. She isn't prone to the 2's ego-fixation, flattery. But like an 8, she's prone to vengeance/objectification, which is evident in how she labeled the people who supported the dam project as the 'bad guys' and rallied people against them out of resentment/spite. That indicates her being in the gut triad too, since gut types are driven by anger. I don't see much shame (or fear) in her, in comparison. She's angry, but she uses that anger to satiate her social instinct, so it isn't as apparent. Lust > pride makes sense too. I'm not really seeing the pride, but the lust is mentioned in the first quote I cited. People tend to associate lust with malignant things, so I guess it's hard for most to spot it in someone like Mion, who manifests lust in different ways because she's a healthy 8 countertype.
