Disclaimer: I don’t really keep up with the SMP anymore so take this with a grain of salt and let me know what aspects of his character changed. I stopped watching after L’Manberg got blown up by Wilbur, I only know the some of the stuff after that point. While I’m a big proponent of INTP for the real person Techno’s type, I don’t see why ISTP doesn’t work for his SMP character. As another user pointed out on his main profile, his core line of reasoning in blowing up L’Manberg is that government is inherently doomed to fail. That’s Ni reasoning rather than Ne/Si, focusing on a single path, a single outcome rather than all present possibilities. To quote Michael Pierce: “The person will stress one point of view (Ni), which is indeed frequently the viewpoint that generates the greatest yield here and now (Se).” From Wilbur’s own description on Techno’s character: “Whilst Technoblade may seem chaotic due to his disregard for human life, he has still upkept one intrinsic value his entire character arc: F!!CK THE GOVERNMENT. Techno has never strayed from this ideal and never will. He will make/lose friends around this idea and won’t care.” Essentially what we see is strict adherence to logically-derived principles (Ti) based on a singular point of view of what will happen (Ni). (Technoblade's roleplay character in Dream SMP.) Technoblade, also known as Techno, was the twenty third member of the Dream SMP, joining on September 22, 2020. He was an anarchist opposed to government (as he considers them tyrannical and oppressive), and a co-founder of the Syndicate, a federation dedicated to upholding anarchist ideology.
