Honestly I’m not sure on her type at all. I thought she had no Ni with her whole relationship dynamic but it does remind me of how I often communicate with ESTPs, I find it hard to understand them. Yoi often expresses her want to understand Kohaku plus always wants peace with him (Fe) but she is often not the mediator when they have a misunderstanding(fi), but maybe this could be linked too her low self-esteem and common INFJ tendency to dislike confrontation. tbh their both improving on communicating but I can’t tell if it’s just bc she’s new and young to relationships and he’s got a weird understanding of them. I’m really leaning towards Yoi being an Infj though, her Fe and Ni is pretty evident in her concerns for Nobara (much earlier than her other friend) and her constant criticism of herself as she is continuously trying to understand Kohaku. She’s super sensitive to everyone’s perception of her which is very Fe of her, especially with her trying to meet those expectations constantly and therefore suppressing her true self. VERY Ni and Fe of her tbh. I really don’t think that would’ve been to easily spelled out for audiences if she had high Fi. Yoi constantly wants to maintain harmony in all of her relationships, including strangers (ppls perceptions of her) but she never waviers from her principles, again a super Infj tendency (from experience lol) Also she is always exploring her inner emotions and wanting to reconcile conflicting feelings within herself, such as her want to be viewed as more feminine, whilst still being called a “prince”. Her whole character is about developing her identity through these conflicting emotions, which she does through Ni. Sorry bit of a rant but it kinda helped me spell it out better in my head.
