José Walter Bautista Vidal (December 2, 1934 - June 1, 2013), was an engineer and Brazilian physicist. Former professor at the University of Brasilia and considered one of the country's greatest authorities in energy production, being one of the creators of the National Alcohol Program (PróAlcool). J.
