(1/7) — Wednesday Addams is an INTJ, not an ISTP (An Remade and Complete Analysis): Hello everyone! Some months ago, I wrote a whole argument explaining why I thought that Wednesday was actually an INTJ instead of an ISTP, which many people here have been arguing to be her personality type. So, after studying more about both of these types, their cognitive functions and other important factors, I decided to remake my argument by adding more points that I think would be beneficial for us to come to an overall understanding about Wednesday's true personality type! To write this argument, I'm going to use the book “Psychological Types” by Carl Jung in order to explain the cognitive functions, so we can come to a conclusion of which ones make more sense or are more prominent for Wednesday (btw, I'm using Grant Stack, so this argument assumes that every type is IEIE or EIEI) Before reading, I would like to ask you to analyze all of this carefully and with a lot of attention, as our objective here is to just debate about what personality type seems to fit with Wednesday more, not creating unnecessary fight and drama over flat and insignificant reasons (and with that I refer mainly to some of the ISTP voters that can't stop crying about people not voting in the same way as them and downvoting any INTJ argument). Anyway, let's begin… Part 1 — Rationality vs Irrationality: “Thinking and feeling are rational functions in so far as they are decisively influenced by the motive of reflection. They attain their fullest significance when in fullest possible accord with the laws of reason. The irrational functions, on the contrary, are such as aim at pure perception, e.g. intuition and sensation; because, as far as possible, they are forced to dispense with the rational (which presupposes the exclusion of everything that is outside reason) in order to be able to reach the most complete perception of the whole course of events.” — Description of Rationality and Irrationality; “Psychological Types” by Carl Jung
