Schrödinger's cat is an ISFP 9w1 (954). It is driven into a position where it has to make a possibly self-detrimental decision for the sake of its owner, in the quintessential enneatype 9 way. It also is a 9w1 because it's not concerned with being in power of the situation and not being controlled against its will (manifestation of w8 in 9s) but it is more concerned with answering to the paradox in a lawful and by-the-book way (9w1). For its tritype, I would argue for 954. Since we established 9 as its core type before, its 5 works in accordance to it. Because the cat is facing up to its fate of dying, because of its master's desire to answer to an impossible paradox, it is giving his life in the name of a science which it is unsure of, but still willing to sacrifice itself for it. Much in this vein, the final 4 digit works itself into this metaphor because of the individuality in the action of sacrificing oneself for the purpose of a thing one believes in, or something of importance to oneself. Now, onto its MBTI type. I believe it is ISFP. The judging function of Fi aids its decision making, driven by the personal decision of whether to press the button or not, something entirely up to its own self. The perceiving function of Se helps it to understand its environment and feed into the logic behind its decisions. Its third function—eternal child Ni—ultimately works to its demise as the seemingly careless exploration of a safe and known environment, and curiosity towards future deeds coerces the cat into pressing the button, and (possibly) dying.
