Incomplete analysis. Seth’s main goal, besides seeking knowledge and new experiences, was to find someone who would understand him. He tried to mold Adam to be such a person but failed, and he says in OSS that he also tried with Irina and Eve, who ultimately didn’t resonate well with him either, and is implied to have tried with Gumilia. He laments how MA, the one who came closest, died in such an unceremonious manner. In his personal narration during OSS: Crime, he says he couldn’t bear to modify his human face because it was so handsome. What we also see of him, calmly narrated (so having the effect of being further removed), is that he shot his mother because she said she didn’t understand him. In general, he seems to hold a lot of resentment towards her, but his preoccupation with his image appears to take precedence over dwelling on his anger.
