I don’t know if it’s just me but it’s odd how feminism is often regarded as one coherent school of philosophy when in reality, it is more of a category of different ideologies which all have a female/feminine-centered narrative behind them in common. What if I told you there were some perceived to be ‘radical’ aspects of first wave feminism when it developed? Or there are many parts of fourth wave feminism that may not be as militant as influencers like to tout? And, of course, this is all because feminism has always been compromised as multiple separate movements with different experiences of womanhood which can depend on age, race, religion, sexuality/sex, nationality, and culture.
