Gale Dekarios MBTI性格类型

性格

"Gale Dekarios是什么人格? Gale Dekarios是MBTI中的ENTP人格类型,九型中的7w6 - sx/so - 739,五大类型中的SCUAI,Socionics中ILE类型。"

Amused by the debacle of his type turning x. So I figured I'd type down my own thoughts and let it supplement others'. Gale of Waterdeep as we know is a chatty, ambitious, adorkable, and altruistic wizard. Probably one of the goodest boys of all in alignment. Has had a terrible hand in love, and seems to not know when to put a cap on anything. He conducts his interactions, with playful openings "go to hxxx, "do you want to see a magic trick" that you could never guess where you'd end up in. (Likely in his courtship without you even knowing). Causing a bit of chaos as he goes, ending up in a half broken rune, near killing your own with necrotic damage (this isnt a bug i emphasise), insane simp energy. I rule out Se as to how most of the humor to his character are writtenly based on dry wit and ideas. Add a natural inclination to do things differently and creatively so as to how he would ask u to revive him on death. So here's where things get interesting: Many assert that He's Ti - Fe, and many more assert Fi - Te. I backread to see the most prominent arguments, including rewatching scenes. As far as I've observed, what settles it is Gale's moral code (or lack therefore) and here's why. Most of the pro arguments for Fi - Te identify him with traits outside of mbti: ambition, motivation, intelligence. Any type can be so. An ENFP can be smarter. An ENTP can be more driven. Any personality can do good. The why behind action is how we differentiate the foundation of MBTI. And sadly most seem to forget to see Gale outside of his relation to mystra. He himself is aligned good, he approves most when you do moral acts. And both Fi - Te and Ti - Fe are capable of this. Its easy to assume Fi, but there are too many questions that leaves this unsound. Beyond Mystra, he is a prodigal wizard with a vast appreciation for magic. With his powers, he's always striving to expand knowledge and skill. He strives to do good with what he has, but not once is he shown a why, or any conviction. He does it because he can. Because its an idea, and that idea is driven forward by whoever he has, such is the susceptibility of an Fe tertiary. Ever so aimless without a tether. Gale's morals, as someone mentioned, bounces like a ping pong ball. You give him an option to do the "right thing" as Mystra commands, but will always slide away if given an alternative. You give him the idea of the crown of Karsus, next thing you know he wants it for himself. Why? The "limitless potential". By gods what happened to saving the world or redemption from Msytra? He follows Mystra's command, not of love, nor remorse. You don't see him begging for forgiveness, but literally, he has a bomb on his chest that could mean the world ablaze. It is not a death of martyrdom values, but to minimize being a dinc after screwing up with an ex. By these accounts, Gale is a cognitive player. A ti - Fe axis. He does not reflect much at all the way Fi - Te reflects emotions and values. No core beliefs especially when compared to Shadowheart. His charm comes from an outward consideration and demeanor. You don't win him over with honeyed words (evident in Shadowlands comforting him after El Minster) n the boat scene you see him attentive to Mystra's motives about the crown rather than putting his own emotional turmoil and desires at the forefront. These are highly indicative of Ti - Fe. As far as ENTP goes, he's on the softer end of the spectrum, you don't have your stereotypical traits of mean jerk or prankster, but lets not forget that Gale is a written altruistic prodigy, so a vhastly developed Fe isnt far from plausible.
