Lee played his first TV leading role in the 2005 sports drama Taereung National Village, followed by the romantic comedies Love Truly in 2006, Dal-ja's Spring in 2007, Because This Is My First Life in 2017 and The Beauty Inside in 2018. The actor has also starred in feature films, most notably in the box office hits Tidal Wave, Quick and Very Ordinary Couple.
