Drowtales: Moonless Age is a webcomic that has been running since 2001. The webcomic was originally Kern drawing the events of the RP he and some friends played in the Forgotten Realms Dungeons & Dragons setting. However, by chapter 4 the comic diverged into both its own story and had started to implement new things in the setting. This took place in two stages: A new first chapter and part of a second was made in parallel with the current chapter, up until chapter 12.
