Rebel Moon is an American epic space opera film franchise directed by Zack Snyder from a screenplay he co-wrote with Kurt Johnstad and Shay Hatten, based on a story Snyder conceived. In the films, the ruling Motherworld's Imperium military threatens the moon of Veldt, and former Imperium soldier Kora tasks herself to recruit warriors from across the galaxy to make a stand against them before they return to the moon.
