What personality type is Aponia? Aponia is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - so/sp - 415 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.

(1/2) "You look baffled, Mei. I exist to endure. You may speak freely." -Ascetic memory 4 I’ve always wondered about Aponia’s enneagram and failed to arrive to a conclusion multiple times. However, I’ve finally decided on one and I believe that I have the decisive evidence for it. 1. Self-preservation 4 "As for the true sinners… I realized long after which that some hearts were not meant to be saved. That was why I insisted on staying there. I couldn’t reach out to the sinners, but I could at least endure their evil for the masses." In the context of the quote I mentioned above, she was explaining on why she chose to stay in the deep end and willingly be locked up with other criminals. This is in my opinion, a very obvious nod to the sp subtype of enneagram 4. “The envy turned against oneself leads them to conserve their own suffering, to believe that they can endure and handle much more, they feel the need to protect their own dream of the future.” – sp 4 wiki “Please go ahead. Too many people have expressed hatred to my face. It saddens me, but I’m accustomed to it.” This quote is very similar to the quote I decided to put in the beginning of the argument. These two quotes show how much she wants others to know that she is simply perfectly fine with others’ words, this insistence fits with the sp4’s strive for endurance. Aponia: “Miss Elysia, since you know my past, you should be able to understand what I want to ask you. The reason I’m here is because I’m a sinner soon to receive judgement. Elysia: “Sinner? To me, you’re just a normal girl overwhelmed by sadness.” (From Aponia’s counseling room video) That piece of conversation took place when they both first met. After that, they both eventually become close. As Elysia was the first one to tell her and acknowledge her suffering, I believe that she became quite fond of her due to it. This fits with a sp4’s want to be seen due to their endurance through their suffering, Elysia gave her exactly that. 2. Passion of “Envy” “As envy progresses along its continuum, we are unhappy to see that another is a particular way or has something that we wish we had, and instead we feel hostility toward them. We begrudge what they have. This is because seeing that they have something desirable that we lack threatens to trigger our inner sense of deficiency, making us feel bad about ourselves.” – The Enneagram of Passions and Virtues Finding Way Home by Sandra Maitri "My abilities frightened my companions, but did little to the soulless Honkai Beasts. I believed I was better at handling trivial matters than fighting. We needed a leader like Kevin, but also someone to hold the weak’s hands, telling them everything would be okay when all hope was lost." In the context of that quote, she was talking about her purpose in the Flame-chasers. She believed that she is more fit in handling more ‘trivial’ matters than fighting. This wording suggests that she views her position less than that of others. In the same quote, she compared herself to Kevin. However, she later justified her position, saying that people needed someone to hold the weak’s hands. In a way, she tried to put herself on Kevin’s level of importance. “Yes… Su opposed the laissez-faire morality. As a psychic, he managed to confront the Final Herrscher on Earth… Unlike me, who was brooding over… how to die right. I’m afraid nobody could stay away from Honkai for long. I only… took a different path.” In this next quote, her envy is more easily seen than before. She mentioned how Su managed to face the final Herrscher and in the same quote, she also compared herself to Su- saying how she is so unlike him when he did that as she only thought of survival (in this same context, also is talking about the survival of other people). She stayed behind, believing herself to not be fit for fighting. Before moving onto the e1 debunk section, There’s one part in the recollections that shows very much of her mindset.

The invisible strings have slowly but surely tied everyone’s fate together. It guides the birth of life; it caresses the soul to rest in the past. The end has been determined, just as Aponia had seen; the prison has been built, yet only she finds herself imprisoned within.
