What personality type is Grayson Dolan? Grayson Dolan is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w3 - sx/sp - 278 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
At first I thought he was an ESFJ based off of comments that I read but after re-reading both ESFJ & ENFJ cognitive functions, I realized that he’s very much an average ENFJ that tends to fall into Se-loops and Ti grips (or at least thats what we saw from the last vlogs he posted before quitting youtube). Fe-Dom: • He’s a people lover and tend to give ppl the benefit of the doubt despite their toxic pasts • Can be extremely nurturing (especially towards Ethan and the female guests), • But also very passive-aggressive when upset (you can quite tell when he’s mad but doesn’t want the guest to know). Ni-Aux: • Quite pensive about the ins and outs of the conscious and subconscious world, • Tries his hardest to be careful about avoiding incomplete/incorrect conclusions (willing to stop his podcast over this), • Has a genuine desire to make the world a better place, but also (when in stress)… • Tends to focus too much on the negative or what is lacking (ie. his obsession with positivity) • Overconfident/arrogant about the truth of his “insights” • Rationalizes selfish/pointless behavior as “meaningful” • Believes he's noble but pursues ideals for egotistical ends (which end in fights with Ethan) Se-Tert (he finds himself in a loop alot): • Quite active and likes to explore new sensory activities (working out, skateboarding, Road Tripping, Camping out) • has a hard time compartmentalizing private/public life • believes he’s “special” yet tends to chase superficial rewards • can be quite over-controlling of situation mainly out of fear • uses self-imposed stress to justify sensory/material indulgences • selectively gathers “facts” to support poor judgments/decisions • may be emotionally volatile, overreactive to setbacks • defines success/worth through (extreme) social comparison Ti-Infer (which recently before his “re-awakening” was quite apparent that he was in a grip): • Very detail oriented and well planned • Amazing story teller, due to his inclusion of detail, which can sometimes irritate impatient people but.. • ruminates lots & creates “logical backstories” to explain negative behavior • invents “reasons” to blame, dump on, manipulate, or guilt people • undertakes obsessive “quests for truth” to solve a problem or prove something • feels completely rational yet often called out as irrational & there it is, my in depth detailed list of why I feel he fits the MBTI type of ENFJ (that is quite average, not healthy nor unhealthy) rather than ESFJ! I hope it makes sense to you guys and all of this is based off of watching his vlogs, listening to his podcasts and watching how he interacts with family, friends and strangers from afar (as I obviously don’t know him personally) 🤗
