What personality type is Sawamura Eijun? Sawamura Eijun is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - so/sx - 378 in Enneagram, SCOEN in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.
one of the most obvious ESFP's in my opinion I also think he has quite healthy Te or rather it developed into an healthy Te especially in act II he uses his Te quite often xD Edit: Since I can't write a new comment I just gonna add my explanation to his personality type here because I really don't understand how people could vote him as an ENFP or ESFJ (English isn't my first language so sorry in advance for grammar mistakes!) As an se dom Eijun constantly focuses on the present and what could happen now in the moment. For reference in the last Episode of act II he says: 'Rather than a past riddled with mistakes or a future bound to be riddled with even more I'm focused on the here and now and the mistakes I could make today' In the episode where he learns the change-up Kanemaru says that he shouldn't talk that much and throw the change-up again before his body forgets it. He learns by experiencing things and adapts by doing so to his surrounding. There are more examples of his Se in the Anime but these are the ones I remember the most lol I kinda get how people could think that he has Fe rather than Fi but I think if he would be an Fe dom he wouldn't be that oblivious to his surroundings and other peoples feelings. For example when he tried to cheer up Asada he didn't take into account, how he would feel by the whole thing. Also a great example for his fi is, how he stood up for Kawakami in the first episode because he didn't agree with the things Azuma said to him. He rarely used his tert Te in the first season. Only after he got the yips his tert Te really became obvious. He didn't really understand why he was in the first team because he himself thought, that there was no use for him anymore. He often times values the team over himself and he would do everything so that they would win even if it means that he wouldn't pitch in a game. Even though Miyuki is an Te dom he sometimes shares the same thoughts as Eijun. In the game against their senpais he wanted to see how useful Eijun is for the team too even though he has the yips. Eijuns tert Te became much more healthier in act II and I'm seriously happy how he uses Te more often now😭 Lastly his inf Ni. Because it's his inferior function he really doesn't uses this function that often. But in stress situations he'll use this function. In these moments he always thinks about what could happen in the future which leads to him messing up in games (inajitsu game or his first game as an ace). I'm still new to mbti so sorry if I explained any of these functions wrong! But honestly Eijun is one of my favorite characters in daiya and it's so much fun for me to explain his personality type😅
