I posted a more in-depth analysis a while ago, but I was looking through his quotes again and found this... "I learned something important. To make the world better, you must accept different ideas. I learned that this is the formula for changing the world. Accepting different ideas… I want to see if you a Trainer whose heart is strong enough to do that." This sounds like an Ni mindset trying to accept an Ne mindset. He perhaps sees only his ideal future, but he has come to accept that not everyone sees the same future that he does. Before anyone says it, I don't believe that this is him leaving some kind of Fi-Si loop - he never really showed any Si evidence to begin with. He's never looking for consistency in detail, not showing any aversion to change in details (quite the opposite, actually), not nit-picky... The entire game, he focused on the one vision that he saw of the future, and his one overarching ideal that the vision stemmed from: he wants to make the world a better place for Pokemon - a place where Pokemon and people live in harmony. This is Ni and Fe, not Fi. Ni can be just as self-centered and stubborn as Fi. Ni can only see their vision - they aren't open to different ideas like Ne. They are sure. And N was sure of this future that he saw, which is why he was so set on attaining this future.
