The way Malfurion (Mal) kept a weird grudge against Illidan over keeping the vials of eternity and wielding demonic power is a huge Fe + Si decision. I say it's weird because Illidan never validates Malfurion's suspicions aside from making himself more and more demon looking. Which was good enough for Mal. It's not so much the crimes that Mal focuses on as much as it is how far Mal believes Illidan has fallen due to his actions. Mal is comparing the values of the night elves, who no longer trust arcane magic and loathe demon magic following the destruction of the well of eternity, to Illidan's arrogance and lust for power. The druidic and peaceful nature of Mal is juxtaposed to his twin Illidan who believes in power by any means necessary to achieve his ends of 1. Realizing his potential 2. Protecting himself and the people he cares about. I would compare this to Maeiv Shadowsong, who I would argue is an ESTJ because she sees Illidan as a security problem that was put under her charge and less like an abomination to nature of night elf culture the way Mal sees Illidan. At the end of Battle of Azeroth, Illidan has quest chain where you get to tell Mal how he was lowkey wrong about his brother's intentions. Mal still judged his brother using Fe, but he began to reflect on his brothers actions and tried to reconcile this new information, suggesting Si. Other examples of his Si as his main observer function include his tendency towards tradition and religion over knowledge and power. Mal wants to maintain natural systems rather than create and manifest his own systems. Mal is just as content sleeping with the other druids and reflecting on nature stuff as he is chilling on the surface, aside from missing Tyrande.
Biography
Malfurion Stormrage was the first mortal[14] druid on Azeroth,[15][16][17] and the night elf who initiated the mainstream use of druidism among the kaldorei people ten millennia ago under tutelage of the demigod Cenarius. He is the twin brother of Illidan Stormrage, as well as the loving and beloved husband of the high priestess of Elune, Tyrande Whisperwind. Together, the two have represented the highest leadership of the night elves ever since the fall of Queen Azshara and her Highborne caste.
