What personality type is Ada Wong? Ada Wong is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sx/sp - 683 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.

❆ So, Ada Wong is enigmatic to me because I myself can see many traits of both E6 and E7 on her. Since her MBTI type is ISTP and she's definitely one to be very devoted to logic and rationale - often being regarded as cold, yet with a strong moral code -, i'm thinking her likely type is that of the sx6w7, and i'm going to try and explain why. Right off the bat, there's the certain spread misconception on some authors (Chestnut and Naranjo specifically) in claiming the only E6 that can be counterphobic is the Sexual 6. That is not quite true, and the SX6 is not 24/7 counterphobic either. Any 6 can be counterphobic, it's just more common for the SX6 specifically to be. Even so, they need not to be counterphobic by rule; all 6s are like pendulums, alternating between different presentations of phobia and counterphobia. Before anything, she's a dichotomic character. Often regarded as someone cold in one moment, to manipulative and seductive the next. Loyal to powerful villains in one moment, double-crossing them in the next. Her very relationship to Leon in the RE2 Remake is indicative of that; putting front an image of vulnerability in order to charm him and make him do her bidding, but ultimately falling for him due to the honesty and genuinity he offered her. Often, SX6s can be SX2-like. I can also say that, even in the counterphobic state, the SX6 archetype - by Oscar Ichazo - is that of Strength and BEAUTY. Not only strength. Ada, for someone in an apocalypse, always has her looks to be incredibly appealing and gracious. She knows how to weaponize her very appearance and use it to her advantage. As comparison, someone that was believed to also be a SX6 was Marilyn Monroe herself. The points that she'd lack about the E6 is visible anxiety and a more reactive attitude. But with the E6 being still a rational type, those are often expressed through other means. Her anxiety could be hidden behind her habit of allying herself with the "winning" team; just to betray them whilst prioritizing her own self-interests; a quick nod to w7, which she embraces beautifully. The charlatanism, quirky/snarky sense of humour and people-oriented manipulation of the E7 are all key aspects of Ada. (... Which even reminds me of Kaeya, from Genshin Impact~ Another SX6, heh.)

Ada Wong is the pseudonym of an enigmatic unnamed spy of Asian-American descent. She has gained notoriety in the corporate world for being able to handle serious situations and the most difficult requests without guilt. She acted secretly in the background of many biohazard incidents and collected information that became useful to several organizations, while at the same time operating to undermine them.
