Man these enneagrams in food wars are so off. Why in the world is he a 3? Kurokiba combines two very contradictory temperaments, being calm and absent-minded most of the time, but choleric when it comes to cooking. His choleric outburts fit very well with an instinctual core, though I'm not sure if an 8 or 9 describes him better. When he puts on his bandana, he becomes quite passionate, agressive and competetive. He considers kitchens to be battlefields and food a chef's power. This is a lot of evidence for type 8. Now his drive stems from a sense of uselessness as a child, so I guess the 3 holds some ground after all, at least with the so subtype. He somewhat lacks the need for admiration, status and success though. I have to take a step back and acknowledge that this intense persona isn't Kurokiba's default. Usually he is calm and apathethic. This fits well with the sp subtype of 9. They are less sociable and easily irritable, now this does sound a lot like him. When loosing themselves in external stimuly they become compulsive, and Kurokiba's case it's cooking. His intense presentation of dishes also fits this point. So for now I think an apathetic sp 9 describes him well, with an 8 wing whenever he gets triggered. I certainly see 3 as his heart center, and the integration path of type 9 is also type 3. Those 9s become self-developing and energetic, this also describes Kurokiba's mindset when it comes to cooking.
