Sauron MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Sauron? Sauron is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w9 - sx/so - 135 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.

Clearly you haven't read the Silmarillion. Sauron is truly a logical, rational and ambitious person, but his strongest ability is definitely a strategic mind; he tends to see ten steps ahead; is capable of creating complex plans and predicting possible outcomes (strong Ni). Sauron loses only because he underestimates his enemies (rejects the Se perspective). All of his interactions with characters he deceives (Elves, Numenoreans) seemed to be simply necessary measures, since deceiving is effective. TeNi’s are often described as very social people, but I doubt it applies to Sauron. He likes scheming; constantly manipulates and tries in every possible way to avoid direct contact/confrontation. Sauron would never go to a fight unless absolutely necessary. I don't see any outstanding leadership qualities in him, Sauron is rather a good manager/organizer. And an eminence grise who took power right after his boss failed to do his job properly. All the time up to this point, he seemed satisfied with a secondary role. Also: poor empath, cynical, utilitarian, very perfectionistic, afraid of instability, smart and innovative (if you consider putting things in order to be innovative for Tolkien's world). For NiTe, the worst thing is chaos. Sauron left Valinor, because he disliked pointless conflicts, procrastination and inefficiency. A desire to rule came to him much later. And Sauron considered the role of a ruler as the most suitable position to achieve his main goal (utopian world of order, efficiency and stability). He clearly is driven by his vision nor ambitions. Sometimes when people see a character who wants power and is in charge, they just mark him as an ENTJ without any doubt. Maybe my vision of Sauron is wrong. But still? Even in LOTR all three books he literally just sits in his tower masterminding his masterplans and observing world like in some real-time strategy game. + sry for my English, too elvish for me

Biography

The Dark Lord of Mordor. The Lord of Gifts. The Enemy of Middle-earth. The Lord of the Rings. THE Evil Overlord. The lieutenant of Morgoth, Sauron was responsible for much suffering of Elves and Men in the Elder Days. When Morgoth was banished, Sauron ultimately took his place as the second Dark Lord. His first plan to rule the world was to teach the Elves to craft magic rings (ultimately the three for the Elves, seven for the Dwarves, and nine for Men). These rings would give each of their bearers great power, but they were also secretly a trap. By creating his own One Ring as an extension of his being he would be able to control each of the other ring bearers, and through them dominate each race. However, the Elves were on guard against this evil, and the Dwarves were too focused on material wealth to be dominated. Sauron made his first bid through force but was routed and his body destroyed (twice). However, his ring anchored him to the physical realm and would allow him to return
