What personality type is Till Lindemann? Till Lindemann is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - sx/so - 458 in Enneagram, RLUEI in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
Initially thought ISFP but gut says INFJ, although I don't know much about him so take my view with a grain of salt. The arguments regarding his obscenity need to take into account 1) Rammstein has a strong shock rock quality to them and 2) some of his lyrics are allegorical and mocking, e.g. from what I've ready '*****' is a jab at Germany's sex tourism, not a song about getting laid; it's made to be attention-grabbing. And 3) INFJs, when unhealthy can be very hedonistic and I imagine many would love the abiity to act out their more repressed desires in the guise of a bold persona. In fact he's similar in some ways to an infamous shock rock frontman of the same era, Marilyn Manson. Both make a point of mocking things and values they don't agree with, both have controversial, theatrical, large-than-life stage personas and both appear to have a reasonably gentle temperment away from the spotlight. The overwhelming consensus of Manson is INFJ, so I think this is a good place to start from when looking at him. Despite his theatrics, he gives Rammstein a heavy dose of pathos and emotional weight. There's a sad, wistful quality to his performances at times, even visually, I think of a tear falling down his cheek in the video of Deutschland. He actually reminds me of Nick Cave in a certain sense, someone else typed here as INFJ, I think it's the contrast of dispassionate observation and vulnerablity. I don't see ENTJ from what i've seen outside of interviews. On stage he comes across as intense, passionate, dangerous but outside, quiet and pretty mild-mannered. One very small thing which indicates INFJ may be correct to me is, If I remember, he was pretty embarrassed in an interview where the interviewer started reading his poetry. I've noticed with INFJs they find it really difficult to maintain composure when they're presented with something they haven't prepared for, or find funny. It's not an important point but something which has been consistent. If not INFJ, I would say ISFP or INTJ.

Till Lindemann (German pronunciation: [tɪl ˈlɪndəman]; born 4 January 1963) is a German singer, songwriter, musician, actor, poet, and pyrotechnician. He is best known as the lead vocalist and frontman of the German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein. He is noted for his muscular stature, unique stage performances (including the use of pyrotechnics and a specific move known as "The Till Hammer"), and bass voice.
