Henry Winter MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Henry Winter? Henry Winter is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - so/sx - 514 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.

I feel like the consensus of 8 fix > 1 fix is a misconstrued interpretation on Henry’s character, here’s why. Donna tartt says this about henry: “Henry's a perfectionist, I mean, really-really kind of inhuman -- very brilliant, very erratic and enigmatic. His aspiration is to be this Platonic creature of pure rationality and that's why he's attracted to the Classics, and particularly to the Greeks.” That’s essentially his driving motive - to be this Apollonian person of pure logic and reason. The trap of enneagram 1 is Perfection and the holy idea is Holy Perfection. Ichazo describes this by saying: “While demanding perfection of himself he also expects perfection in others. Of course he always hates himself for not being perfect, and is always disappointed in others.” the trap of enneagram 8 is justice, which I don’t see him trying to pursue whatsoever. I don’t see him being extremely sensitive to, or seeking out justice against all unfair actions against him. Julian also says this, which I think is really interesting: “The more cultivated a person is, the more intelligent, the more repressed, then the more he needs some method of channeling the primitive impulses he’s worked so hard to subdue.” Donna tartt here is clearly foreshadowing Henry - who is written to represent all of those things: intelligent, repressed, which leads to his eventual obsession with holding the bacchanal. Henry represents the classic dichotomy of Apollo vs Dionysus: he seeks the sublime of losing himself in a Dionysian frenzy, because he has always strived to repress impulses and be purely reasonable and logical. That completely contradicts 8, which is all about sensory-motor dominance, moving into action quickly before thought without overanalysis or abstractions. Henry literally says this about himself: “I was paralyzed, though I didn’t really know it. It was because I thought too much, lived too much in the mind.” not very type 8, is it? I understand yes his core type is 5 which in any case will balance out his fixes, but i really don’t understand how he can be 8 > 1. Yes he is a murderer, but let’s remember being morally grey doesn’t dispute being a 1, when he fits all the trait structure of the 1 more than 8.
