What personality type is Aira Shiratori? Aira Shiratori is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - so/sx - 469 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.
I know there aren’t many arguments on what Aira’s type is in the first place and ENFP just seems to fit him, but I think he could actually be an INFP. While I do agree that he is socially extroverted, I’m not really sure about Ne dom. He seems to use Fi more, as his main reasons for becoming an idol were that he loves them and that they inspired him (makes decisions based on personal values). He bases a lot of his self-worth and identity on being an idol because that’s the image he wants to achieve. I also think inferior Te could fit him, as he gets frustrated that everyone around him seems to be more skilled than him (Alkaloid in general, especially Hiiro). He struggles with the objective standards required to become an idol, and also struggles heavily in school due to difficulties with Te. He has a hard time learning unless he can personally relate to the subjects, which makes me think he is an Fi dom. Aira also gets mad at Hiiro because he thought Hiiro was someone he could relate to (Fi), initially judging him as an “underachiever” like himself. However, he becomes disappointed when finding out that Hiiro is a genius, making him feel even worse about himself. Aira is overly judgmental of himself, thinking that he's a failure when he cannot reach the standards expected of him (Te). His harshness with Hiiro when frustrated might also be an example of inferior Te outbursts. As for inferior Si, I don’t really see it either, other than him getting embarrassed about his past at times. I think he seems to use Si more in the tertiary position, taking comfort in things familiar to him, like his hobby of collecting idol goods and enjoying foods, such as chocolate, that give him a sense of comfort. He also uses Si quite well when it comes to idols, as he pretty much has encyclopedic knowledge of them. Regarding auxiliary Ne, he just seems like an Ne user. He insults Hiiro in many different creative ways, such as calling his mom an Australopithecus, and combining his name with another phrase to create his own personal catchphrase is also something an Ne user would do. I haven’t read his event stories in-depth, so I’m just going off my impressions from the main story, but I just think Fi dom could fit more. Either way, I’m pretty sure he’s some kind of xNFP, so I won’t rule out ENFP and I’ll hold off voting for now.

An idol who's an idol-loving fanatic. He's a quarter French, with his mother being half French, half Japanese. With a sociable personality, Aira is bright and fearless. Though he does have common sense, there are times he'll accept anything he's told without question.
