Personality

What personality type is Tony Stark “Iron Man”? Tony Stark “Iron Man” is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - sp/sx - 738 in Enneagram, SLUEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.

I don’t see the core fear of worthlessness in Tony. Quite honestly, I thought him being a 7 was pretty spot on. For starters, Tony has done a lot of things that could have potentially damaged his reputation just for the sake of doing something good, usually after he reflects over his wrongdoing (disintegration to 1). Take for example in Iron Man 1: Stark announces that his company will cease manufacturing weapons after he witnesses the terrible effects they have on other people. Obadiah Stane advises Stark to not do this because it may ruin Stark Industries and his father's legacy. But Tony didn’t care because he felt that what he was doing was wrong. The carefree playboy Tony Stark became more morally righteous after undergoing a time of stress, thus showing disintegration to 1. Not disintegration to 9. I believe his socionics LIE plus him being an sp-dom is the reason why he appears more driven than the average 7. He’s quite like his father.
