What personality type is T'Challa “Star-Lord”? T'Challa “Star-Lord” is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - so/sx - 127 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
Admittedly, he came across as quite the Mary Sue, in this episode (As did Captain Carter, to an extent in ep 1 but, T'Challa was even worse, imo). Being extremely competent and good at his role, something main continuity Star Lord could only wish (heck, I doubt he barely even thought of most of the feats T'Challa Star Lord managed to pull off). Despite all this, it kinda makes sense, however. Unlike Quill, T'Challa did not have a troubled childhood and grew up very privileged (Being a prince of Wakanda probably gave him all the luxury and access that the world could offer, I mean). He was not plagued by any parental issues like how Quill was. A healthy childhood and upbringing made him well-adjusted and conveys to us how important it is for a person's growth and well-being. All said, I do however feel that this T'Challa was surprisingly much more outgoing and extroverted than the sacred timeline one. Main timeline one is mysterious (atleast in Civil War), reserved and withdrawn, by contrast. Could be argued he became such due to seeing his father dying in front of his eyes but, still... This portrayal even broke T'Challa's distinction of being the only main superhero in the MCU to not quip and/or crack jokes (as Honest Trailers pointed out in their Black Panther trailer).
Biography
Prince T'Challa, son of King T'Chaka, was abducted by Ravagers from his home country of Wakanda at a young age. He grew up with the Ravagers, where over time he taught them to change their way of life. Now stealing from the wicked and over-privileged of the galaxy to help the less fortunate, becoming adored icons to the galaxy and he gained the name Star-Lord. He eventually traveled to Morag, where he stole the Orb and hired Korath the Pursuer. He then met up with Nebula, who told him about the Embers of Genesis, which could feed millions of planets. He then hatched, and executed the plan to steal the Embers from the Collector.
