What personality type is Uatu "The Watcher"? Uatu "The Watcher" is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - sp/so - 548 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, ILI in Socionics.

I feel that this adaptation of the Watcher is more an 'A' than 'E', SLOAN wise. If one is familiar with TV tropes, they could navigate on the "What could had been" section for the MCU. There, in the "what if.." folder, one of the points mentions as to how initially, the Watcher was envisioned as someone more cold, detached and purely analytical and that they made him more "warm and personable" (for a lack of better terms) after his actor Jeffrey Wright, felt it would be a better characterization, after seeing his kid being more involved and eager/hyped, whenever they watched MCU movies. Imo, he isn't egotistical and isn't being passive/ non-interferring and watching everything for selfish reasons. Even when he first speaks with one of the characters, he really wanted to salvage Strange Supreme's universe but decided not to, not because he wanted to make him suffer or anything but more so as to how his interference might impact the peace and stability of other planets. He also doesn't have a shred of arrogance and sternly rebukes Strange Supreme, when he addresses him as "a God" only to reply that he isn't (despite his role and position in the grand scheme of things). He was genuinely concerned about the multiverse's well being, once he realised how devastating the consequences would be, if Infinity Ultron went with his plans. Not because he could no longer observe or tell stories, as opposed to. Ofcourse, his ending dialog to both Widow and to us, gives us an impression that he really admires and respects everyone and everything that he sees and would not hesitate to protect them all, no matter the cost, calling the multiverse, "his home". And was genuinely sad for Widow's predicament - it was like he legit was upset and wanted to help her but was unable to, due to his oath. Maybe, I have a lackluster understanding of E vs A in SLOAN. But, I feel RCOAI makes more sense, imho. Also, as one comment here has mentioned, 9w1 too, is a very plausible Enneagram for him.
