Personally leading the surprise night attack against Shaista Khan (the uncle of the emperor) while he was in his bedroom at Lal Mahal, assassinating Afzal Khan during a meeting after months of careful planning, only highlights this fact. Also, he banned slavery in his kingdom, forbidding either men or women of his kingdom to be made into slaves, and went as far as telling the Dutch merchants that his soldiers would raid their homes and free them if they indulged in the slave trade. He was truly a man ahead of his times, a visionary, a man of undying spirit, and one of the greatest warriors if not the greatest IMHO.
