I have to wonder how much of Masao Horiki's narration was Yozo's perception of him. I almost feel bad for the guy.. I know Yozo was struggling with his own demons, but I really, REALLY dislike him. More than I could dislike Masao. Always slagging others off and never having the balls to ask if what he perceived of them was true. Coward lived inside his head, judging people from his ivory tower when he could barely hold a conversation himself. I had to stop reading because I couldn't stand his internal monologue.
