I don't get how you can be an introvert and still have such a MASSIVE Fe that you fall in love with a person who literally just helped you stand up because you tripped, oh, and also not drop it during the long course of like 5 years, i'll concede her development was overall ok, but imo she could have been a much better character without her petty crush on Ash being her main trait.

Serena joins Ash on his quest despite not knowing to what end, though she eventually decided that her dream was to become a Pokémon Performer.
